Special Initiative with Lost Souls

If you are losing access to lost souls (ie. they are being shuffled) is there a special initiative rule to let you play negates or are you just out of luck?

Nope, no SI. You have to wait for regular initiative and if you don't get it, ie Death of Unrighteous, then yup, you're outta luck.

If you had Gamaliel's Speech in play, you could trigger its ability to negate a LS shuffler like Death of Unrighteous or Belshazzar's Banquet (as long as they were not made CBN by someone like Nergalsherezer).

Both answers are correct, SI is only granted when the last character on the side of the battle is being removed by an ability/game effect caused by an ability your opponent used.
