I know this sounds bizzare (I love using that word), but are you allowed to play more lost souls than you are allowed in your deck? For example: a 50-56 card deck says you need to have 7 souls in it, could you add an eighth one?
This question came up because it was hard to squeeze all the lost souls I wanted into 7 slots. Thank you very much!

No.
-
Allrighty. Thanks very much!
-
No. There was once a strategy that would try to allow a person to use 42 LS's, SoG, NJ, AotL, GoYS, The Strong Angel, Lois, AoCP, and CM or some sort of similar combination. For obvious reasons, that is illegal. The number of LS's you have for a certain deck size is a minimum and a maximum.
However, it is perfectly legal to build a 57 card deck, which is really a 56 card deck with 8 LS's, if you so desire. I have built several 57 card decks recently so that I can put an eighth dominant in my deck.
-
Heck, I might even make a 60-card deck. Thanks clarifying!
-
In a 56 card deck u can run 8 LS's but only if the 8th one is hopper (which doesn't count to the limit) that's the only way that you can.
-
Is the Hopper's ability an identifier or a special ability? Because if it is a SA then it gets prevented by the Negater soul from Di.

It's a special ability, so the Negator LS does stop the Hopper.
-
so if the negator is in play then the hopper becomes a lost soul in the owners land of bondage?

Yes, however, Hopper is still not considered part of the total Lost Soul count for deckbuilding purposes.
-
that makes it pretty risky to play the hopper then not sure i would wanna keep it in my deck

Yes, but it's still a + 1, and the benefit of Soul Generation could be worth (especially in a speed deck).
-
yeah true about the speed deck but i dont play speed so for me its not worth the risk
-
I'd argue the 'speed decks' are actually low risk, Genesis and Sam are not easy to fight against and Gardensiples is still a crazy deck.

What is the gradensciples???
Faith ain't easy to understand 1 bird in the bush beats 2 in your hand

Gardensciples is a deck type that merges elements from The Garden Tomb (TGT) decks and Disciples deck. Also, you don't need to type your signature, it comes up automatically when you post.
-
Yep. Gardensiples are crazy fun. And so are the others, (I made decks for them to clash against mine so that I can figure out strategies that they use and crush them)

i actually am not typing my signature it does that sometimes on its own im not sure y lol :P
