Cactus Game Design Message Boards

My friend and I recently played a game in which he tried using "Sarah's Jealousy" a crimson enhancement with the ability "Holder may choose the hero opponent uses  to make a rescue attempt this turn.". He then brought his own Hero into battle. Technically the card doesn't specify if he can or cannot do this. Any input???
