Target of Balaam's Disobedience

My opponent makes a rescue attempt with Joshua the High Priest and I block with Lying Spirit banded to Nebushasban.  With my initiative, I play Balaam's Disobedience.  Am I able to select Nebushasban to be immune, or does Balaam's force the target of the special ability to be the character upon which it is played?

Balaam’s Disobedience
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Grey • Ability: 2 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: Evil Character is immune to human Heroes unless an angel is in Battle. This ability cannot be negated.

The only character that can use the ability is the one on whom the card was played.

+1.  The only valid target is lying spirit because neb cannot play gray cards.

I agree, not because Neb cannot play gray cards but because BD was played by Lying Spirit.  Similarly, Miriam's special ability cannot be transferred to Aaron.

Also, BD does not say "a hero".  It says "hero" is means "this hero".
