Title: Legal Targets for a Set Aside Enhancement
Post by: Wings of Music on February 11, 2012, 12:48:18 AM
If I have a green hero and a non-green hero in my territory can I play provisions on the green one yet target the non-green one?

Basically I'm asking if I can target Joshua the High Priest with provisions while I have say, Hur in my territory as well as Josh.

I don't think you can target KoT with provisions, Because doesn't provisions say set a hero aside. ???

I would choose a 1/1 King to block and then you do not have to waste any enhancements.

Only if Cov with Phineas is up, becasue my 1/1 king is brown, it's as if I was just asking my opponent to drop a plot!

I've found that out the hard way by choosing a brown EC :(…

There is a 1/1 Crimson Isrealite King, I use him with King Amazing, no Plot, and none of the Babs Enhancements  8)

I think the point of choosing KoT was so that Joshua the HP would have initiative. That way you can play a bunch of enhancements that are particularly destructive, but since they are played on Joshua they are CBN. Sheer probability would indicate that your opponent is not likely to have CBN orange enhancements.

I think your opponent is more likely to have a gold CBN enhancement than an orange CBN enhancement (especially in MN). I have heard that Egyptians have made a rebound with Genesis decks, so cards like Wonders Forgotten are too prevalent to take a chance CTB your own Gold KoT.
