Does lampstand protect rescued LS in LoR from Falling Away?

I think I'm going to replace my GoYS, if so.

Yes it does while it is up.  while lampstand is up neither FA, Burial nor DoN can be played by anyone at the table.

but it can be easily taken down by Lyiing unto god and numerous other art killing enhancements

Not easily in FBTN battles though.  I have found it to be an excellent compliment to FBTN heroes.

Just to be clear, you can still play Falling Away, Burial, or DoN, if you have a need to get them out of your hand.

A dominant can be played at any time.  When Lampstand is active there won't be a legal target so those three dominants would have no effect if played.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?

Presented Before the Lord is a good example of why this would not necessarily be a wasted play.

True, I should have been more clear.  Those three evil dominants can still be discarded to fulfill an enhancement requirement, they can be played (for no effect) at any time to reduce the number of cards in your hand.  They will just have no legal targets to go after.

Why does Lampstand protect cards in the LoR, which is not in play?

The ability specifies all cards not in battle.  That means all locations other than the Field of Battle, and locations can be in or out of play.
