Is there "Royalty" among demons?

Specifically, I just picked up the Solomon's Temple board game, specifically for the King David and King Solomon cards.  Can King David (who cannot be blocked by a member of a royal family) be blocked by characters like "Prince of Tyrus", "King of Tyrus", etc.  Is "Royal family" exclusive to humans?

Thanks.

im glad this question was brought up-
it would seem to me that the mother of the king of kings and the lord of lords would also be royalty. Is this not the case?
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Then what about her husband, Joseph the Carpenter?  Her step sons (or other sons, depending on how you read it): James, half-brother of Jesus, and Jude?

I think "royal family" is human royals from earthly kingdoms.

Royal Family includes two distinctions: Royal and Family. Many Demons are royal, but none have a family.

I would actually argue that because Joseph is in the direct line of David, he should be a member of a royal family, but as David is the only card that references it, and the odds of him facing a Converted Joseph are so small it's just a token gesture :)

That's not really what I talking about at all. They are royal, just not members of a royal family.

Hello, can of worms...

I know many theologians who say there is a hierarchy of demons, just like there is a hierarchy of angels. I'm not sure where in Scripture this is, off the top of my head, but this would seem to indicate that there is royalty among demons.

Thankfully, King David specifies royal FAMILY.  I think we can assume demons have no family (Uncle Screwtape and his nephew Wormwood excluded).

So if there's ever a C.S. Lewis or Screwtape Letters expansion, then we'll see a demon royal family?  :D

There's really no indication that Screwtape and Wormwood were royalty. At most, Screwtape appears to be a high-ranking bureaucrat of some sort.
