Title: Kir and Side Battles

Tim makes a side battle between two of his own ECs, with him controlling one and Kayleigh controlling the other. Can Kayleigh use her Kir to discard that EC and get a new one?

Kir: If an opponent makes you use an Evil Character not your own, you may discard that Evil Character to search deck for an O.T. human Evil Character and add it to battle.

I don't see why not. It doesn't ssay anything about a rescue attempt.

Cool, thanks guys. I just assume my intuitions about side battles are always wrong, so I wanted to ask.

Always good to ask, and that's a good catch!  I hadn't thought of that...
