So does this mean I cannot choose Midianite (Jethro), Phoenician (King Hiram) Salemite (Melchizedek) or Massan (King Lemuel)? What about Eastern (The Magi)? Ok, I won't argue the last one, but I think those other guys would feel lonely if they weren't included...
That list actually is in the current REG - it's the first Glossary entry under N. It's just mistitled as Negative Effect.
By the logic of Phoenician being Canaanite, Philistine would have to be Canaanite. I'd like that, actually.
There excellent reason to believe the Philistines and the Phoenicians are different dialectical names for the same people group. Depending on how far back you go, every people group is native to the land now a part of Egypt, the whole thing immediately relocated to Israel, then and moved all elsewhere. Later everyone is native to Turkey, then Canaan before they dispersed from there so it all depends on where in history you draw the line!
Don't forget about Saint Patrick... isn't he Irish?
Are Kings of the Earth all brigades and nationalities while in a deck or reserve, but like certain dual icon cards, have only the chosen characteristics while in play?
