Can Witch of Endor convert Saul/Paul to an evil character, or does it have to convert the Old Testament Saul?

Saul becomes Paul when he is a hero. Also, it refers the unique character, OT Saul.

This is correct. Only the OT Saul (being King Saul) is targeted/referenced as far as the ability goes.

Any card that refers to King Saul that is currently a hero can be converted, yes.

Okay thanks. That's pretty much what I assumed. It'd be pretty crazy if evil Saul (O.T.) got converted and Witch of Endored in the same game
