So I have a deck with Garden Tomb, using Mary Mother of James, Salome, Joanna and Mary Magdalene. I put Christ's Triumph on Mary Mother of James. Other person is using Isiah deck and plays Razor.

I get caught up with maybe being to technical with terminology. So if he plays Razor, I just discard Christ's Triumph and keep Mary in play in the battle? Because though I have three other characters in battle, she would be failing the rescue attempt?

How would that work with Siegeworks? Angel of the Lord?

Christ's Triumph is played on a character out of battle, if you fail your rescue attempt with the characters in battle, you may then discard Christ's Triumph to make a new rescue attempt with the character it was placed on. Characters may only enter battle once per turn, so no you cannot use Christ's Triumph on Mary if she has already entered battle for the turn to make a new rescue attempt.

Thanks for the reply.
I did have Triumph already on her when she entered battle. I had placed it on her a turn before I used her to make a rescue attempt.

if you didn't use her that turn to make a rescue attempt, then you could dc christ's triumph to make a new rescue attempt with her from territory.
