King of Tyrus

I know almost a month ago now there was supposed to be a ruling on whether King of Tyrus is considered a "king" by game rule or not.  I was wondering if a decision has been made and I missed it.  Or is the jury still out on it?  On an important note If this thread devolves into another multi-page debate on this issues I will lock it faster than a jack rabbit on Mt. Dew.  There has been to much discussion on it already, I almost loath to post this.

Yes, the decision is that he is not a king. It's been that way forever and nothing has changed that.

 Hmm, that's interesting because it's still being discussed.

I believe that was the original impetus behind the question "is he a king"?

i think the whole king of tyrus/prince of tyrus thing was a considerable faux pas on cactus' part. lots of sources claim they were not demons, but indeed humans that were kings/princes/governors.

I'm not sure anyone is denying that there was in fact a human "King of Tyrus" and "Prince of Tyrus" that the prophets were speaking against. However, their words were also prophetic messages regarding Satan and his minions, which is what those cards were based on.

King Hiram was a king of tyre, would you argue that he's the same character as King of Tyrus?  ;)

Right, but as of now he's not a king. That's all I'm saying.

Actually I thought as of now he IS a king.  The "King" in the title is enough to prove kingship until a ruling.

Hey,

As of now no official ruling has been made so each Host gets to/has to decide for themselves.
