I have king Man with 2k on him with Gates of jerusalem up. I block with King Man and I want to band to Spirit of Temptation to King Nadab.

Can I use King Nadabs Special ability before 2k activates?

If not can I play a battle ender but then complete his ability?

King Man can band to a demon.

Spirit of Temp can band to a human and not be interrupted.

Gates of Jerusalem says my judean kings SA's cannot be negated.

Kind nadab is not judean but Man is.

My answers are based off the Assyrian Archer band so take it for what its worth.

2K horses is played first (and the play next enhancement) prior to the band.

Then you band...all of this completes King Man in battle as a block.

Spirit of Temp enters battle (seems like he does something else like places card under draw pile) and then bands.

King Nadab enters battle his ability completes then his weapon completes.


With that scenario, then no you can not have Nadab in before 2k horses activates.

    if you are using a battle-ender with 2k horses, then I don't think Nadab ever entered battle.


Again, all this is based off the archer band.

CARDS WITH MULTIPLE SPECIAL ABILITIES

When a single card has more than one special ability (including gained abilities), and an order is not specified, perform the abilities in this order:

1. First, complete all printed special abilities in the order written on the card EXCEPT those that add a character to the battle.

2. Then complete all gained abilities (gained in set-aside or on previous turn, etc.), EXCEPT those that add a character to the battle.

3. Then, complete all weapon abilities.

4. Then, complete banding abilities.

5. Last, complete choose blocker abilities.

So King Nadab would never enter battle? What if I had a card like weakness out, would I be able to band then play.

Weakness: Place in a player's territory. If player controls a hero in battle that has decreased toughness, the blocker has initiative to play the first enhancement.

There is no "play first" anymore. It's now "play an..."
