Does JT protect from forced draw? I know this has been discussed before but I don't remember a resolution.

I would say no, based on the REG's definition of draw.  You're forcing the other player to draw, not targeting the deck.

I agree. Your opponent isn't removing the cards from your deck - you are.

I believe that was the rationale for that ruling as well. I am fairly certain it was ruled that a forced draw isn't protected by JT, because otherwise Mayhem would make JT unplayable.

As opposed to now, when it's so playable?

Florida uses JT.

I've actually considered starting to use it in T2 decks, since it seems every other T2 game I play one player has to live without SoG, thanks to Assyrian Survivor+confusion.

I'm seriously considering adding it as well in my T2 decks.

Especially since Egyptians never seem to completely die out in our meta. 

last nationals I played Ken who had a 154 card Egyptian deck, in T1 Teams no less.

He still uses that deck. XD
