lol so the reason why Ram's Horn doesn't make make armor enhancements cbi is that cards cannot retroactively gain cbp/i/n? Otherwise the enhancement was used by CoL in territory and would therefore be cbi in battle. I am really confused about all of this "play", and "used by" in battle talk. That's what I was trying to get at in the sister thread...
Sorry but this thread is getting more confusing by the minute. I'm really trying to understand this stuff and it is not clicking
Multiple people have attempted to explain it.
Cards have CBI/P/N (or not) when played.
Enhancements are played when their ability activates.
It's really just that simple.
Yes the ability activates when you play them in territory on CoL. The opposing argument is that they activate a second time when the Hero enters battle and they have the opportunity to gain CBI then. (They don't)
Ram's Horn just says enhancements used by WC heroes. BoR doesn't have to activate again, according to your logic in the CD scenario I brought up, to be considered "used". Therefore, Ram's Horn would make it CBI except for --->"Cards have CBI/P/N (or not) when played." meaning it cannot gain it. So according to your logic "Cards have CBI/P/N (or not) when played" suffices as an answer. "Enhancements are played (used by) when their ability activates" confirms that the enhancement would be cbi in battle without needing to activate a second time.
