Defeating the guy who defeated me?

Michael(12/8) starts battle, and Sadducees block (1/3). Sadducees plays Wrath of Satan "Discard all Heroes in play." I know that Michael is now discarded since he has no negates. If Michael plays Striking Herod "Interrupt the battle and discard a male human Evil Character." I know that the Sadducees will be killed. I am assuming that this does not count as a successful rescue attempt since Michael was discarded first.

Actually no. Striking herod would interrupt Wrath of Satan and discard the sadducee. When WoS tries to re-activate, it has no EC to activate on, and so its essensially negated.
All heroes live, EC dies, Sucessful RA.

Agreed. When you interrupt and play next, your card(s) take precedence over the other person's-they activate first. Basically, you just play it like you played your's first, and complete abilities n order. Striking Herod kills Sads, Wrath has no one to activate on, thus it fizzles and Mike gets a lost soul (barring a dominant play or other stuff like that.)

So the same came be said about Bound "Interrupt the last enhancement played this battle and set aside any demon in play for four turns." if the blocking character is a demon?

Yes. Any time you interrupt the battle and somehow remove a character from battle, the "kill card" that you interrupted fizzles, unless theres another character in battle it can legally activate on.
So, in your example:
RA with Michael.
Block two sadducees, play Wrath of Satan.
You COULD play Striking Herod and discard the sadducee it was played on, but it would just activate on the other sadducee thats still in battle.
A way you could stop the above is if Michael used Swift Beings to ITB, then used Fire Smoke and Sulfur to kill both sadducees before the battle resumed.

Correct. An Enhancement must activate on a character in battle that can legally play it. Interrupt and do X basically inserts its ability before the one you just interrupted.
So the original order is Michael, Sadds, Wrath on Sadds - which kills Michael.
The interrupted order is Michael, Sadds, Striking Herod on Michael, Wrath is played but no legal characters remain in battle and so it does nothing.
The order of cards PLAYED is the same, but the order the ABILITIES take place is jumbled around.

Ok a hero starts a RA, a demon blocks. Moses kills Egyptian "Interrupt the battle and set aside an opponent's male Hero in play for 5 turns. Then return the Hero to owner's territory." is played. Can David's Music "Interrupt the battle and shuffle opponent's demons into draw pile. Cannot be interrupted." or Benaiah Snatches a Spear "Negate one evil enhancement in battle. Add the numbers on that enhancement to this Hero for remainder of turn. Cannot be negated." be played because of the cannot be...?

Any negate will stop the set-aside, and any interrupt will temporarily stop it so you can try to stop the set-aside. The interrupt/negate does not have to be CBN.

What happens if an interrupt vs. interrupt situation comes up, i.e. Striking Herod vs. Moses kills Egyptian, with, say, King Elah as the EC and Angel at Jerusalem as the Hero? Say Elah uses MKE to interrupt and set aside, then Angel at J uses Striking Herod to interrupt that and discard him. Seems that the interrupts would keep interrupting each other, so do we just say that the second one takes precedence?

Each one sits in the order they are played but resolve in the order they "insert" themselves.
A rescues, B blocks. C discards, D negates last, E interrupts and discards the blocker.
First A happens, then B. The blocker is winning.
C discards, the Hero is winning.
D negates last, so A, B, D, the blocker is winning.
E interrupts D and has an effect, so A, B, E, D.
E has taken out the blocker, so all you have left is A, E, D.
D has no character to take effect on so it does nothing, and you have only A, E
Each interrupt only targets one time. D does not negate C, and then later negate E. It only targets C.
Now interrupts can string along, like C is negated by D is negated by E is negated by F etc etc. But two interrupts do not constantly interrupt each other.
In Rubber Band's example, Striking Herod discards King Elah, so Moses Kills Egyptian has no one to take effect on, and does nothing.
