Involves Music Q

From the REG:
Quote
Several Redemption® cards refer to cards “involving music”. A card involves music if it
does one of four things:
● Represents all or part of a song or Psalm.
● Represents an event that was noted for its music.
● Represents a musical instrument or singing.
● Represents a character who is identified as a musician.

Does this mean that Music Leader cannot fetch Musicians' Chambers? That seems wrong.

The real Q I have is this: If the REG is updated to account for Musicians' Chambers - (possibly change the second bullet to: Represents an event [or place] that was noted for its music) - then how many of the temples should gain the 'involves music' tag? Surely at least Solomon's Temple and The Heavenly Temple, right?
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

I personally think they all should, but at least Heavenly, solomon's, and the tabernacle.

Hmm, the omission of Musician's Chambers was an oversight in the REG that I noticed back in 2015, but it appears it did not get corrected. I have added it to the list of REG 5.0 corrections.

The other temples did not come up in that discussion--for the moment those do not fall under "involving music."

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Some verses to consider next time you discuss this with the elders.
from 1 Chronicles 6:32-
"They ministered with music at the Tabernacle until Solomon built the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem. They carried out their work, following all the regulations handed down to them."
from 1 Chronicles 9:33 -
"The musicians, all prominent Levites, lived at the Temple. They were exempt from other responsibilities since they were on duty at all hours."

They were literally living there, doing nothing but making music. seems to me like they should be musical. :2cents:

I was just thinking about 24 Elders and that detailed LoR article on Heavenly Temple/earthly temple counterparts. Makes it seem pretty clear there's a lot of music going on, yes?

I totally agree that if we just go by the english definition of "involves" and "music" that it seems like these fortresses will qualify. But for Redemption purposes a definition was created that doesn't seem to include "places where music was played". At present they don't qualify based on the definition the game uses.

We will definitely look into the pros and cons of adjusting that definition with the next REG update.

That's not a fair categorization. The argument is that part of the function of the Temple was specifically for the creation and recitation of music, not that "music was played there."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
