If My Egyptian archer (Egyptian Archer
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Gold • Ability: 3 / 5 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: May band to any Egyptian. May discard any Hero in a territory but then discard Egyptian Archer at end of battle. • Identifiers: Generic OT Male Human, Egypt, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: II Chronicles 35:23 • Availability: Kings booster packs (Uncommon) )
Discards Joshua the HP. The hero in battle plays Jordan Interrupted (Interrupt the battle, Play next) and then played Burning I. (All heroes ignore brigade, he chose Gold).
Does Joshua Live?
-
Both Joshua and EA live. EA's ability is interrupted, then all heroes (including Joshua) ignore gold.
-
I disagree. From the REG (Instant Abilities -> Interrupt -> How to Play):
‘Interrupt the battle’ interrupts all active ongoing abilities on characters and enhancements (e.g. Red Dragon), abilities that are causing you to lose the battle by removal (e.g. King Zimri), as well as the last enhancement played in the current battle if it was played by your opponent.
A character ability that is not ongoing is not interrupted.
-
Hmm, I stand corrected. I thought that ITB interrupted all character's abilities.

As I thought. Thanks!
