So I played Israelite Archer and banded to Michael.
My opponent played the old Gomer (can be negated), and banded to a pale-green Assyrian with a s.a. that isn't important here. He then played 'The darkness' (old enhancement). I then present Captain of the Host. What happens exactly? What does Captain have the ability to negate?

The Darkness, Pale-Green Evil enhancement
"All heroes in battle withdraw. Opponent must present a new hero or attempt fails."

Captain of the host, Silver Hero
"Negate all non-weapon class sa's except banding"

It'd just negate The Darkness.

Captain would negate the ability of Darkness which would bring back Archer banded to Michael. Captain would return to territory.

So it would end up Archer + Michael vs Gomer + Assyrian (in a battle by numbers with banding).

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?
