Title: Is exchanging for another hero banding?

Basically, does Household Idols stop the new Judges Angels from entering battle?

No. SWS is not a banding card so neither is this.

It's not a band ability if the Angel is the only hero in battle, however exchanges are considered add to battle abilities, which are banding abilities if another hero is already in battle.

RDT, that's not the case. Perpetual Priesthood was specifically billed as a way to get around HHI, and that understanding (exchange=!banding) has been backed up time and time again since then. Unless this is a change that Gabe forgot to list.

I asked about SWS with regards to Goliath a while back and was told that Goliath negates the exchange for the reason that I listed above. I was surprised when I was told as well, because I had thought that they weren't.
