Title: interrupt the battle cards
Post by: Cpt.Jaeger on December 01, 2010, 12:11:16 PM
ok, when you interrupt the battle my understanding is that the
1. last/current special ability is stopped
2. the entire special ability on the interrupt happens, along with any resulting abilities (example, banding, drawing, etc)
3. the the interrupted ability resumes, assuming that it is still in the same battle phase and all the cards required for the ability to work are still in battle

for example, if someone
1. bands two ECs and plays interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game
2. then the hero plays interrupt the battle and play an enhancement
3. then they play a convert on one of the ECs
4. then the evil interrupt successfully removes all cards in battle from the game

alternatively,
1. bands two ECs and plays interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game
2. then the hero plays interrupt the battle and play an enhancement
3. then they play a discard all evil characters in play
4. then the evil interrupt CANNOT successfully remove all cards in battle from the game because there is no longer an EC for it to activate on

is that right? I've always wondered how exactly that worked. I assumed interrupting a battle was like sliding your card in front of someone else's or retroactively stealing their previous initiative
