Interesting situations about ignore

So far what I have read from answers from the forum members in the past about ignore is

1. Ignoring a character gives the ignored character unlimited initiative to play enhancements

2. Unlimited initiative only applies when an entire side is being ignored.

(Correct these if I am wrong or the rules has changed)

Example #1.

What if hero Jeiel (SA does not matter) white 1/1 goes for a RA and is blocked by black brigade Lot's wife 3/3 (SA: May band with any EC)
and bands to Gold brigade Herodias 6/6.

then hero plays white enhancement Meekness of Isaac (1/1) to ignore Gold brigade.

So far Jeiel is 2/2 , Lot's wife and Herodias are 9/9 together.

1. Which side has the initiative? ( only gold brigade is ignored , not black and the entire side is not being ignored)

Example #2.

Same situation , except Jeiel plays Patriarch travels enhancement (no numbers ) to band to Green brigade hero Bezaleel 3/2 (SA does not matter) and then plays Meekness of Isaac to ignore gold.

Currently in this situation there are 2 different brigade heroes with 5/4 and 2 different color EC with 9/9

1.  Which side has the initiative?

Example 1, initiative is still with the hero.  She is protected from and ignoring Herodias, but the evil side is still 3/3 in terms of what affects her (and the battle).  She still has initiative, therefore.

Example 2 is more complicated, because only one hero is ignoring Gold; the other is not ignoring.  I have to do more research on this, and more thought, so anyone else's input would be helpful.  Basically, the problem is that Jeiel ignores Herodias, but also does not strike Herodias (due to the nature of ignore), but Herodias strikes at your Green hero (which is not protected or ignoring).

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe if only part of either side is being ignored then you evaluate their numbers as normal (keeping in mind that ignored characters cannot play special abilities against the ignorer) and if it comes down to ending the battle by numbers then the winning side would obviously both stay alive and on the losing side the non-ignored character would be discarded while the ignored character would only be discarded if the strength of the non-ignoring character is higher than their toughness.

Hopefully this makes some sense.
