These are probably a dumb questions; but 1. is the land of redemption considered as part of your territory? and Aaron from priests Says "as long as he remains in play he protect your tabernacle artifact from evil discard." does ability activate as soon as he is played or you do you still have to make successful rescue or challenge to make it work?

ok, so desiccating the temple will not work on goys, correct

Correct. Desecrating the Temple can discard Glory of the Lord or Holy Spirit as those are the only two dominants that remain in a player's territory.

Also, Aaron's ability does not activate until he enters battle. After that, if he remains in play and isn't negated during the battle he protects tabernacle artifacts.
