Title: In game ruling desired
Post by: Prof Underwood on September 09, 2011, 12:30:49 AM
I'm always a bit iffy on side battle stuff :)

Question #1 -
If a Tribal Elder bands to Jacob for a RA, and then the blocker sends Tribal Elder to a side battle....

I'm pretty sure that he can NOT band to Jacob again in the side battle, but does he get to band in the side battle to someone other than Jacob?

Question #2 -
If Nergalshazer has Swift Horses on him when he blocks and draws 2 cards, and later is sent into a side battle...

Does the WC evil enhancement activate in that new battle and draw 2 cards again?

1. SA's never re-activate when a character moves from a main battle to a side-battle and vice-versa.

2. Same deal.

Pol is correct on both counts.

Excellent, a simple and consistent answer.  That should be easy for me to remember :)

Thanks!

Actually Prof, they forgot to mention that on the second and third Tuesdays of any month with one or two syllables, or during a full moon, Nerg's Swift Horses can activate provided that you are not great with child, and that Mayhem has not yet been played this game.

Well of course. Everyone knows that.

Yeah, but only if you verbally declare that you have a "Royal Cronk".  Otherwise your opponent can claim "Fizbin" :)

No, that was overturned during the Split Altar ruling. Weren't you paying attention?

But I touched the opposite pole, making everywhere but the opposite zone the new opposite zone.
