Every Man's Sword?

I recall a long discussion about whether Every Man's Sword prevented characters with access abilities from beginning rescue attempts at sites.  I don't, however, remember how it ended, and I can't seem to find it.  What was decided?

It was decided that Every Man's Sword should be n00bified. It has errata that says "Protect each player without a lost soul in land of bondage from being attacked"
