Title: Immunity Question
Post by: Minion of Jesus on May 28, 2014, 08:07:27 AM
I have Wandering Spirit (band to a generic demon) banded to Fallen Angel (band to a demon) who bands Terrifying Beast (Immune to blue, may band to a Roman Emperor) who is banded to Emperor Nero (immune to lone heroes). My opponent is attacking with Joseph (RoA) and plays Joseph Before Pharaoh (If used by a son of Jacob, negate opponents evil or neutral card. If it is a human, capture to an opponents land of bondage. If not, put it beneath opponents deck) on Fallen Angel.

Can he play it? I say no, because my bad guys are immune to Joseph from Beast and Nero, and he has to take out the immunity first. I'm just not sure.

Only Beast and Nero are immune to Joseph.  Joseph has no issue playing Joseph before Pharaoh on Fallen Angel (or really any character in battle at this point, since JBP will negate that EC).

Intersesting side question. If the rescuer targets Fallen angel with JBP, do Beast and Nero get kicked out? FA's band which allowed them to enter was negated, but they are both immune to Joseph and that immunity was never negated/interrupted...

Yes they get kicked out, because the band was negated.

Wouldn't it only kick out the beast? Bc the beasts ability sti triggered so Nero would remain with wandering spirit right?

I'm pretty sure Nero gets kicked out by the cascading negate.

Yes, if beast is kicked out, then Nero goes too
