Imitate LS and Gain LS

Gain SA: If this card is put in territory, you may shuffle a card from Reserve.

Imitate SA: Each upkeep, you may copy the SA of another N.T. lost soul for one round (activate the ability as though you just drew the card).

If Imitate were to copy Gain's SA, would you be able to shuffle a card from reserve?

Sepjazzwarrior suggests the odd wording on Gain implies you couldn't.

If you just drew a Lost Soul, you would immediately put it in your territory. Imitating Gain does trigger the copied ability of Gain and allow you to shuffle a card into your deck.
