Ignore vs. Immune Question

OK, so the following I understand...

Scenario #1--If my character is immune to your character and then you play a card that makes your character ignore my character then we have a stalemate situation.

Scenario #2--If my character is ignoring you and then you play a card that makes your character immune to my character then I win the battle.

Here's my question...

What happens if I am ignoring you then you interrupt the battle and play an immunity card? Are we in a scenario #1 situation or a scenario #2 situation?

Here's an example...

a. I make an RA with Claudia.    (SA doesn't matter, not choosing to band.)
b. You block with The False Prophet.  (Gray brigade big dude--no SA)
c. I play Pillar of Fire.  (Ignore gray brigade.)
d. You play Lurking (interrupt the battle and band) and band in Emp. Nero.  (Immune to lone heroes)

Your example makes it a "scenario #1" situation, because the immunity activates before the ignore (thanks to the interrupt).

indeed.  Ignore first means your immunity does nothing because you already are not (otherwise) being affected by me.  Ignore second means your unaffectableness is added to my unaffectableness, but you cannot add the other aspects of ignore (specifically, the "I win the battle" aspect) because my immunity does not allow you to target me.

In your scenario, you are interrupting, and then placing the immunity in before the ignore.  Meaning you cannot be targeted by the "I win the battle" aspect of ignore.

Cool. That's just what I thought, but I wanted to make sure.

I have a question. If your evil character is already immune to my hero, and my hero suddenly ignores your evil character, wouldn't I still win the battle and get a Lost Soul, since your character immune to mine is now being ignored anyway? Doesn't ignore treat the Evil Character as if it's not even there?

Yes, but the immunity makes the ignore not affect the EC.

Nope.  BubbleBoy gives the underlying reason why.

    Immune then Ignore ==> Stalemate
    Ignore then Immune ==> Ignorer Wins.
