Title: Ignore
Post by: Praeceps on October 06, 2015, 07:24:05 PM
I RA with any given no SA lone hero and 3 Nails active and my opponent blocks with a Prince of this world from hand. is my hero winning or is it a stalemate?

I believe he is immune to you and you are no longer ignoring him due to the fact three nails stops you from blocking. Since you have already blocked three nails is not ignoring any more, it is kind of like King David. Some one check me just in case :)

"May not be blocked by" is still an ignore special ability, and I don't think the actual wording of the ability matters.

An ignore ability has four parts:

(4) should mean the hero is winning the battle, but I'm not certain of that.

I'm asking because I'm not sure if the ignore gets to give me the win condition before Prince's immunity activates.

I think this particular situation is different, since Prince isn't immune to the ignoring card, which is Three Nails, not the hero.  But I'm not certain artifacts trigger all 4 parts of ignore.

If the hero is doing the ignoring, I think Prince blocks and activates his SA before the ignore re-targets and adds him, in which case Prince is immune to the last 3 parts.

I need to do another Real Rulings with the new Ignore rules...

However, Aggie is correct.  Three Nails is the source of the ignore, and Prince is not immune to that, so it is essentially "not there" for battle resolution; the Hero is walking by at that point.
