If an evil character were to enter battle "against Aaron", he is still there in battle with Miriam. The rule is that if character A ignores character B, unless A and B are already in battle, B cannot be in battle at the same time as A.

Could you point out what you found in the REG that seems to contradict that?

Immunity does not extend to other banded characters [p. 47] unless stated otherwise (e.g., Faith of David). The
same is true for the ignore or repel special ability. However, banding enhancements may still be played on
characters already in battle that are immune or being ignored. For more information, see Ignore or Repel on page
20 and Immunity on page 24.

An ignore card only protects
itself, not other cards played or brought into battle (e.g., Banding). If an enhancement is being ignored, it can still be played, but it
may not target the character that ignores the enhancement.

Here is what is confusing. The ignore card only protects itself.     Thanks for the help!!!!!

Protection from harm is only one part of the Ignore ability. If Miriam enters battle after a Gold Evil Character is already there, the other Heroes in battle can still be affected by that Gold Evil Character. That is what the quotes you provided are talking about. On the other hand, Ignore also includes a "keep from entering battle" ability that does directly go against the ignored characters. That part of the ability doesn't affect Aaron in this case, but the Pharaoh in the opponent's territory or the Taskmaster in the opponent's hand.

Hope that cleared things up a bit,
Tim M

Tom,

All other abilities on Characters still work.  :) Holy of Holies only prevents the abilities listed on the card.
