Does Jeroboam's Idolatry protect the EC's from the first Enhacement played in battle or a Weapon/Place card on a Hero?
Jeroboam's Idolatry
0/0 Brown Evil Enhancement
1 Kings 12:28, False Reglious Practice
Set aside your Human Evil Character to decrease 0/2 per turn. Protect your O.T. Human Brown Brigade Evil Characters in battle from the first good Enhancement opponent plays each battle.

Yes? I'm not sure I understand your question, but it can probably be answered by the definition of play.

I think this means that the brown brigade EC will be protected by the first enhancement played IN BATTLE. But, if a weapon or TC enhancement is placed already on a hero, I think that can still work, because it wasnt played in battle.
-- Your wording on your question is kinda confusing...

From the REG:
Play
A card is considered "played" (1) when its special ability activates or (2) when it is put into play – except by a "place" special ability or a "holds" identifier.
-
Good weapons would count for Idolatry, but placed enhancements would not, since their abilities are always active and are only played when they are originally placed.
-
Okay, I was wondering on that, and also why I usually didn't see it used since a Gates Deck can make a giant character that would live for more then likely the entire game and Protect Isrealite Kings from the First Enhancement played. Thanks!

I used it in my 154-card Gates deck, it was nice, but it seemed like most people always had a draw enhancement or the like that opponents could use before playing their battle winners, so it never helped too much.

I was just thinking its okay against Genesis and Sam Decks by stopping their main Battle-winners.
