Title: Idle Gossip

Can Idle Gossip force to two banding players making a R A - say John and Son of Zeb to fight each other - or does one have to be selected "Rescuing Hero" and another from a Territory for the side battle?

Some posts use the term FBTN - what is this acronym?

I believe so, since Idle Gossip says you can choose any hero in play to fight the rescuing hero.

FBTN= Fight by the Numbers. Someone like Moses who negates special abilities on characters & enhancements.

Yes. When Idle Gossip says "choose a Hero to fight the rescuing Hero" you can choose any Hero in battle to be the rescuing Hero, and any other hero in play to be the other Hero.
