Ok this came up this past week and I was unsure of the latest ruling. Ok so here's the low down- Timmy is attacking Johnny. Johnny blocks and gives initiative to Timmy. Timmy plays a side battle card and chooses the evil character that Johnny is using to fight in the side battle. I always thought that if your character is being pushed out of battle then you have initiative to negate. With a side battle I am being pushed out, do I have initiative to play a negate, or does it go to the side battle and if I live then I can negate? If the second one is right, then that does not go along with the rules, and previous rulings on initiative. Someone let me know the answer to this please.
