Shenanigans with cards that don't matter

Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Green • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Take all Heroes having a Genesis reference out of your draw pile and band them into the Field of Battle. • Play As: Search deck for all Genesis Heroes and band them into battle. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Genesis 1:1 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Uncommon)

In type 2, what happens to duplicates? Am I allowed to target them? Do I choose which copy gets discarded? Can I band to a hero I didn't pull from Deck to battle (but did pull from deck)?

Example: RA with Joe Bro with a Zeb Rev in territory. Use CotW. I pull my other Joe Bro and Zeb Rev from deck. Is that legal? If not, why?

If it is legal, do I choose who gets discarded? Also, if I discard the Zeb Rev from deck, can I band in the Zeb Rev from territory?

If you have duplicates they go to hand instead I believe.  And I'm pretty sure you can only band the heroes you search out.

If you have duplicates they go to hand instead I believe.

Is that a force to hand or a choice of discard or hand? What would happen if my hand was at 16 cards and I couldn't take any into hand?

From my understanding it would be force to hand, and if your hand was at 16 they would just stay in deck. (Complete as much as you can)

This came up during testing with Joseph. It was discussed here.

That thread didn't answer Zeb in Deck while having a Zeb in territory unless I can't read (very possible). Other than that, makes sense.

You cannot band to a character you already control so Zeb would stay in your deck. Other abilities can cause you to control duplicates, but banding is the one exception.

So what happens if you have dupes of a character, all copies of which are in your deck?

On another note, if I have two Throne of Davids in my deck, one is out, and I rescue with King Solomon, which of the following happens?

Look at opponent's hand. Search deck for Glory of the Lord or an O.T. Fortress and put it in play.

1: I search, find the second fort, but am unable to put it in play due to the duplicates rule.
2: I search, find the second fort, and try to put it in play but must discard it instead, wasting the fort.

I think it would be discarded.

/Which basically means it wouldn't be discarded.

Somekittens is correct. You can be forced to control duplicates in almost all situations. Banding and playing from hand are exceptions, not the rule.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
