Are you allowed to hide cards by putting two sites into your site pile directly on top of each other or putting cards in storehouse? It seems like they should be visible if they are in play.

Is it allowed?  Technically, I think.  But it is in VERY bad form to do so.  REALLY bad form.

And all players can always ask to see every card in those places (note that Storehouse specifically says "face-up" and doesn't restrict looking at the cards).  You can also ask to see each specific card that was played down, no matter where it ends up.

The only face-up cards you can't look at are discard pile, but you can't discard 3 at a time to hide what you got rid of.  Your opponent can ask what cards were discarded.

No one should be playing this way, intentionally hiding cards.  And as always, all players have a right to ask what each individual card.

Thank you, it is not something I do but something that has been done to me, and I wanted to know if it was legal to ask to see the cards.

If you want to be good as me, you need to learn how to look at every card on the table, but not realize the arts/forts are ACTUALLY ACTIVE.

Intentionally hiding cards is about the same in my mind as intentionally stalling: It may be legal to an extent, but it is borderline illegal, selfish, and highly frowned upon. I would like there to be a rule that you can take back a move that your opponent immediately reacts to with a hidden card, but otherwise, every player should make it common practice to say, "May I see all your hidden cards," before making important moves, and also paying close attention to everything his opponent is doing (the latter of which should probably be done anyway).
