Hidden Treasures (FF)
Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Once per turn, if your lone green brigade prophet begins a battle, you may play an Enhancement or discard an evil Enhancement in an opponent's deck. • Play As: Once per turn, if your lone green brigade prophet begins a battle, you may play an Enhancement or search opponent's deck for an evil enhancement and discard it. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Obadiah 1:6

I searched to no avail.  I know I've played it this way.  The "Once per turn" in Hidden Treasures allows me to activate it once during every player's turn, correct?

That is true, if you can somehow get your guy into battle.  However, he needs to start the battle.

This would be impossible, YOUR means ownership and control. So even if a hero from your deck attacks on their turn, it's not yours.

What about a side battle between heroes? A player can choose which one enters first, right?

As far as I know, characters enter side battles simultaneously (just like banding in multiple characters). The "order" that's chosen is who's ability activates first, second, etc.

That raises the question of who "started" the battle.  In this case, I'd say that it was the character that used the enhancement that started the side battle.  (Or King Rehoboam)

I don't believe a side battle is a hero "entering a battle."

It's not "entering a battle", it's "begins a battle".  Which needs a definition, with regards to side battles.

And how does a hero get into a side battle without "entering" it?

The answer to your original question is definitely yes. As to whether or not that scenario is possible, I would say no.

So then what happens if both players are playing Prophets and they each have HT up (and the chosen heroes are both lone green brigade prophets)?
