Is Hidden Treasures a Temple Artifact? If not, I cite this as evidence for why it should be: there is an object in the background of the picture that seems to be the Ark of the Covenant.

REG says no:
Hidden Treasures (FF)
Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Once per turn, if your lone green brigade prophet begins a battle, you may play an Enhancement or discard an evil Enhancement in an opponent's deck. • Play As: Once per turn, if your lone green brigade prophet begins a battle, you may play an Enhancement or search opponent's deck for an evil enhancement and discard it. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Obadiah 1:6 • Availability: Faith of our Fathers booster packs (None)

The verse doesn't seem to refer to the Holy of Holies at all.

I know it's not according to the REG, I know enough to check that before posting threads, I'm just asking why it isn't.

Then why is it in the picture? lol.

It just seems odd that they'd pick a picture with the Ark if 1)it's not meant to be a Temple Artifact, and 2)if Koala is right and the Ark wasn't even in the temple at that point (meaning that the pic is entirely false rather than simply misleading).

They used the picture because it makes for a cool-looking card. If any cards refer to a card depicting the Ark of the Covenant or a card depicting the Holy of Holies or Solomon's Temple etc. then this card would count, but just because there's a picture of the Ark on it doesn't mean it's a Temple art.

That really is the image that should have been used on Holy of Holies rather than the one on it now.

I understand that the gaming aspect of the artifact card type and special ability fit well in the prophets theme, so the choice of a scripture from Obadiah would seem to fit.  However, between what the scripture is actually saying and the misapplied artwork, I would have preferred something different.

In fact, when I saw the card name on the list when it was released my first thought was the hidden treasure in Matthew 13:44.  So ideally, I would have like a card that was an artifact with same special ability and card name but using the Matthew 13:44 scripture and different artwork.
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

If there ever was a generic prophet could hidden treasures be in effect for them? It says lone prophet so that is only one prophet not many even though it may be one card.

In Redemption, "lone" refers to one card, even if that one card represents multiple people. Philip's Daughters is still a lone prophet.
