Satan's Seat Vs Paul

If I have Satan's seat placed on any site and my opponent trys to put on Paul a fruit of the spirit enhancement Faithfulness.  The wording of Satan's seat makes me think it only negates protection of heroes not on enhancements placed on him.

place on your single color site to negate all protect abilities on your opponents heroes

Even though Faithfulness is on Paul, the protect ability is on the card Faithfulness therefore Satan's Seat would not negate that protection.

Abilities that are "on" Heroes refer to abilities printed on the card.

Just use Iron Pan. It solves the problem, especially since he never plays them on Paul in battle.
