Rephrase the questions please. Idk what they are.
Dude, your original post is almost unreadable. Idk what you're asking.
If a card is captured, then you're not discarding it. So if it's not discarded, LDYL does not apply to the situation.
DUH!!!!! i say if it captured and becomes a lost soul acn you discard LDyL to protect the LS fro Discard (E.G. Burial)

Burial)First of all, we can solve this problem without insulting people's intelligence.Second of all, LDYL is used to save a Hero that is being discarded. Once a character is captured, it becomes a Lost Soul. It is also treated as a Captured Character (Hero), which is really just a state to be targeted by cards that say to do stuff with Captured Heroes. The point is, the captured character is no longer a Hero, so it is not a card you can save with LDYL.
Josiah's Covenant protects the card from harm, so you can't even target it with any effect that would harm it, such as discard. So if it's not discarded, LDYL does not apply to the situation.
Well, if the Hero is not protected, then it's being discarded. If it's being discarded, you can blow up LDYL instead.
