Gam's Speech

Hello All,

A quick question about Gam's Speech.

Can you discard Gam's Speech to do the (negate) ability at ANY time during the game (i.e. even when you don't have initiative, when you are not in battle, and/or even when it is not your turn)?

Thanks,

Eric

That's cool.

It makes the card pretty awesome, especially since you can negate GOOD or EVIL enhancements.

Random thought...in a TEAM game, you could discard Gam's speech from your territory to assist your Teammate in his battle (even when it is not your turn).

I guess it is kind of like playing a dominant, right?

Thanks

To clarify, a placed Gam's Speech can be discarded to negate any time you could otherwise play a dominant. So not during the special ability resolution of another card, not during special initiative, etc.

Woah, Woah, Woah, don't go crazy, it's not that powerful.  ;D it is really good though, probably one of my favorite cards to come out of early church, along with peter.

It's not quite a Dominant but it is similar in power if you have enough Clay or Grey. Even better when played on Peter.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Minister P:

Why would it matter WHO you are playing Gam's speech on (e.g. Peter or anyone else)?

The card is territorial and says: "place in territory," so once it's out there, why would it matter how you got it out?

(You could just as easily bring it out on an evil gray Syrian, right?)

Thanks

Peter is territory class and makes Acts Enhancements used by him CBN, thereby making Gam's Speech an anytime CBN negate for offense or defense. Quite nice, especially considering how easy it is to recur.
