Satan's Seat v Banding Chain

If a banding chain rescues from a site w/Satan's Seat, are all heroes in battle discarded (save for CBN protections and the like)?

Satan's Seat (Evil Fortress): Place on your single-color Site to negate all protect abilities on opponent's Heroes.  If a Hero rescues a Lost Soul from that Site, discard that Hero.

I believe that any hero that had access to the site from which the Lost Soul was rescued, and had access to the lost soul, would be discarded.

For example, a red hero banded to a green hero that rescued a Soul from a green site with Stan's Chair: only the green hero would be discarded.

Thanks.  Looks like it's coming out of the deck - only being able to pick off a couple heroes and having to guess what brigade to target (if SS comes out early, since I can't move it around) doesn't make for a very effective setup.

You could always place it beneath deck with Threatened Lives and then re-draw it to put it on a different site.

Or CBN shuffle it back into your deck with Nathan.

You could also just use 1 brigade color of Sites (perhaps a brigade that your defense does well against so if they have that brigade, you won't need to rely on the Sites). If they don't have that brigade, then they will need to use something like DragonRaid or an access-granting Artifact, which would then give access to most (if not all) of the attacking Heroes and make them targetable for Satan's Seat.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

I was going to suggest this earlier, its a great idea to make Satan's Seat live. All purple sites is an excellent choice, since Philistines have a great matchup against purple (Overwhelmed, Goliath's Armor, etc), and purple is one of the least used colors in the meta right now.

I was originally intending to use a single gold site (Kir from TexP), since most meta offenses have a gold character in battle much of the time.  I originally had Nazareth, but Isaiah has site access with his Call, so I thought I'd spread it out a bit more; gold is proving rather useless, though, because Gideon is always protected whenever he goes into battle (thank you, CBN AutO....).  As of right now I use a lot of CBN capturing (Sargon II plus an Assyria site), so adding more sites won't necessarily help block them any (while taking up some much needed space).  I guess I could add a few more purple sites and drop the capturing, but I'm not too sure what my brown/pale green defense could use as battle winners in place of 4-5 captures.  Looks like it's back to the drawing board with the whole deck.  Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
