Assuming you mean exchanges like Numerous as the Stars that also require searching, yes.

Just making sure, sometimes I need to have simple things ruled on.  Not everyone takes my word for things.

Anytime a search is required for an ability to take place (Chariot of Fire, Great Faith, Unknown Nation) then an ability that prevents searches would also prevent that ability.

1. What about a reveal and exchange?

Are there any such abilities? If so, reveal is not a search, so reveal and exchange wouldn't be stopped by HSR.

2. What about Seven Sons of Sceva?

HSR would stop SSoS, because you have to search your discard pile to exchange.

No worries about the dig (I earned that one ), I forgot about that one (probably selective memory repression) .  Thats the sucky part about being a tournament host is that sometimes you have to make a tough call, and then it turns out you are wrong and cost somebody a first place.  But I'm glad you don't hold it against me though, I got it right the second time though!
