The Branch says increase your heroes abilities by 50%.
So my Whatever is suddenly a 4 1/2 / 4 1/2?
How does this work I think there is also a disciples card that has something like this.
What happens in these situtations?

I don't see any reason why the numbers can't or shouldn't be 4.5/4.5.

if you then poison those heroes can they be 1/2 / 1/2?
or do they die after 1/1?

Characters don't die unless they reach */0.

The Branch has always played that way, at least if the Redemption Player's Guide is any indication.

If you place one of the brown deceases on a 4.5 hero that says to decrease hero 1/1 per turn until they are */1, when does the 4.5/4.5 hero stop decreasing (if at all (since they will never reach */1)?

OOOOHHHHHH. :o AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. :o
(Scheme... Infinite initiative...)
This would be AWESOME!
Does anybody know other cards that do this?
Like discard half of your hand and you have a gallows so you would round down because you wouldn't rip anything?

Presumably it would decrease to -0.5 and then the hero would die.

That makes absolutely no sense. You never rip a card, unless it specifically says to, and as such you always round if the numbers don't come out even when referencing physical things like the cards themselves.

The problem with that is I believe they all say the blocker plays the first enhancement.

They would stop decreasing when they are discarded by game rule at */-0.5.

It depends on what the decrease was a result of, and what the Healing card said. I'm pretty sure if the decrease was due to a poison/disease, then Healing would increase the Hero to full strength, and Brass Serpent/Backward Shadow would bring them back to their full abilities.
