Title: Great Image
Post by: browarod on September 15, 2010, 05:57:26 PM
If I use Great Image during a multi-player game, which heroes are discarded at end of battle?

Great Image (Pr)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Crimson • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: All opponents' Heroes in play that are not in the Field of Battle at end of this battle must be discarded. • Identifiers: OT, Depicts a Weapon • Verse: Daniel 2:31

Opponents' is plural.  :)

I know it is, which is why I wanted to make sure this worked. ;)

Yep. It's as awesome as it looks. All Heroes but your own and the ones in battle at the end bite the dust.

Yeah, I would expect that card to be an absolute staple in multi.

Reminds me of a game I played with my wife (who plays infrequently), Sgt. Phil Gaudette, and Phil's daughter. Phil was crushing my wife's attack, so she said, "Fine! If I lose, everybody loses," tossed down GI, and lost the battle. Among the three of us she probably wiped out 15 heroes. The look on Phil's face was priceless...

actually, if people in multi played more defense in T1, then this probably WOULD be more of a staple....but since they dont....

All I know is that when I was playing T1 Multi at Nats, I made as many or more blocks for my OPPONENTS than I did for myself...

Well, if you made one or more blocks your opponents failed anyway.

That's because us MW Region players (I'm have dual citizenship) know how to play T1-mp and make it fun :)

True true, I believe in offensive heavy decks for T1 Multi, but you have to have a flexible defense that has multiple uses.  When a single 12 fingered Giant can drop a single game winning banding chain..why not splash him in?  especially since the more defense that multiplayers play with, the less useful a certain New testament fortress is  :o
