Does grapes of wrath shuffle or discard the enhancements played in battle? Also, if i played Death of First born and he playes it, is my RA still successful?

Enhancements get discarded.

Enhancements are discarded. Only characters are shuffled.

As Alex said, the enhancements get discarded. If Death of Firstborn is played and only one evil character is in battle, your opponent must present a new evil character before he can play Grapes, since no EC would be in battle, and Grapes isn't an interrupt.

But even if he did have another EC in battle (in fact, he had 8 ) if he didn't present another EC, it'd still win the ra right?

Your opponent is allowed to play a dominant before Battle Resolution, as long an evil card was in battle after the first evil character was removed with Death of Firstborn.

The last line is clarifying text and is not relevant. Normal Battle resolution occurs if no EC is brought in and no dominants are played.

What? you mean you can't use Death of Firstborn to win the ra if there were 2 or more characters in battle, but the opponent had none to add to it?
