I have yet to hear a straight answer on this. Can I get one or is it still being discussed?

I'm pretty sure that Gabe said no in the chatbox soon after he released all the new rulings. I don't remember if there was a thread or not, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

I believe the new ruling is "return" abilities return to hand or territory.

I thought this discussion was finished, and that Pol was correct.  However apparently there are still some loose ends to tie up.  Therefore, I guess everyone can keep using Asahel+Grapes as an auto-win for now.

But don't get to used to it :)
