Cupbearer can never add a hero to battle (unless he's been converted [or maybe if he's fighting an EC, not sure]).
You can't place cards into battle in an opponent's control unless specifically stated.
postcount.add(1);
The targetability of DAEs (dual alignment enhancements) is under discussion. Apparently some of us played it different ways during playtesting, and the result is we are having a discussion about it. The prevailing opinion is that if a hero played it, it cannot be later targeted as an evil enhancement.
In an opponent's control? What does that mean? You mean under opponent's control? I'm asking whether he can add a hero to fight the rescuer, not if he can add a hero to the opponent's side. It would be under my control.
Since Goshen doesn't specify the location of the place or return, can I place/return heroes from/to hand? Or is there some rule that says that's not allowed?
So if I go by the bolded wording, and place Drawn Sword beneath deck with Ezek, I couldn't later search for it with Nebby? The way we played it in booster was that if a hero played 7YoP, then you couldn't discard it with Aaron's Rod because it counted as what it was played at the time. I just wanted to make sure that was correct.
If the current thinking about DAEs is kept, does that mean one played as a GE would not be considered evil at all (you've already said it wouldn't be an evil enhancement) until it hit a pile that resets it? As in, would I be able to discard 7YoP played off a hero with Balance?
