Golgotha (Di)
Type: Site • Brigade: White • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Anytime during battle, you may place a skull icon card from hand or discard pile on Golgotha: N.T. characters of that brigade cannot be ignored. Return that card to its previous location at end of turn. • Identifiers: Jew, Holds one skull icon card • Verse: Matthew 27:33
Just FYI: I realize that the new errata is not listed anywhere yet, but something that should be kept in mind is that based on the wording I can place my skull icon card on my opponent's Golgotha (just as Idolaters can target any Aaron for capture).
-
I guess that is true. Just so long as you have a Golgotha yourself, I don't see why not. Not sure how that would help, but feel free to break the game knowing that it is currently a legal play.

I agree that the errata for Golgotha needs to be listed in the REG and the errata thread. I'll send my peers a reminder to help accomplish that soon.

It won't break the game, but will be nice to shuffle in my skull icon(s) when I force my opponent to RA with a pre-loaded ANB. It was more of an afterthought to recur 1 or 2 more of my cards.

Attack Blue, put a Multi Enhancement on their Golgotha, play Job Overcomes, profit.
They attack, put a Multi Enhancement on their Golgotha, block Reheboam and use your Micah or Asher, profit.
Not game-breaking, especially since it depends on your opponent's deck, but fun.
-
Even though I tried to "redirect" attention with my example, it appears the cat is out of the bag. ::)
So much for trying to be the next David Copperfield. I won't quit my day job. :D

I don't see how either of those examples would work. Your enhancement on an opponent's Golgotha is still your enhancement. They don't magically control it just because you put it in their territory. As such, I don't think it would count as "evil brigades opponent has in play" because you have it in play, not your opponent.
-
I agree. Placing DSin on my opponent's hero won't add another evil brigade that they have in play.
-
I've always played it that they do count because of the wording. "Has in play" includes "has in (his territory and his side of battle)." I wouldn't get trigger-happy with "own+control" when the word "your" is not actually present.
-
I've always played it that "has" means controls. When did I say it had anything to do with the "your" rules?
-
Actually wouldn't it be better to put an evil enhancement on your opponents golgatha of a brigade they don't have so you can pre-battle ignore them now that it can only hold one enhancement?
-
Well, so much for that diversion.
-
Im thinking that Job Overcomes can only be good with SWS and Self.
-
If they have CP, Golgotha is protected from the placement, right?

Yes.

Yes, just make sure you also put one on yours as well, else they could put their skull icon on your Golgotha...
-
Since we are discussing combos here lemme try to think of one...place your 10 EE's from discard pile on everyones golgothas in Type 2 multi and play Two Bears to shuffle them all back in your deck b/c their all different brigades or even with Nathan if you keep thier evil off the board and they have to target your enhancement in thier territory.
-
The trouble with Nathan is that he activates before you can place an EE on Golgatha.
-
unless if you band him in...
-
Which is almost more trouble than it's worth. The only post-block banding I can think of for Green is Ship to Cyprus. (but I'm no expert on green)
-
Nathan is to be used with Reheboam ONLY.

Yes, just make sure you also put one on yours as well, else they could put their skull icon on your Golgotha...
Of course. Oddly enough the attacking player would have priority to place on both though, correct?

Yes, they would, responding to their own action.

Teal/Green have always played well together and teal has Joidas Strength...
