Who's Fighting By the Numbers

Rescue with a red Hero.  Block with Sapphira.  The battle is FBTN.  Red Hero plays Might of Faith to negate Sapphira's SA.  Sapphira has inish and plays Midianite Attack.  Is Sapphira's FBTN in effect or is it Midianite Attacks FBTNb that's in effect?  I assume it's Midianite Attack but I'm not certain.

Sapphira
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Crimson • Ability: 6 / 8 • Class: none • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements (except this ability).

The Might of Faith
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Red • Ability: 3 / 0 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate the special ability on an Evil Character in battle. Cannot be prevented by an evil card.

Midianite Attack
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Crimson • Ability: 1 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: All special abilities except banding on characters and enhancements except this one are negated.

I say Midianite Attack because it is negating everything, not just Might of Faith.

midianite attack, because it negates might of faith, and when sapphira's ability tries to kick back in, midianite attack is still in effect.

wait wait wait.... wouldnt Mid attack be prevented by Sapphira? If I play a FBTN in a side battle, it would negate the whole field of battle, wouldnt it? So whats stopping Sapphira's FBTN from reaching into the side battle and preventing Mid Attack?

Nope because, mid attack negates Sapphira's ability
An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.

... what side battle? Saph's ability was negated by Might of Faith.
Which was then Negated by Mid Attack.
Which would still be active when Saph tried to reactivate, but Saph would then be negated by Mid Attack.

Saph's ability is prevented by mid attack by the time it tries to reactive.

Don't worry, we always do. :)

Yes, Saph's ability is negated by Midianite Attack because when it tries to kick back in, it's been negated.
