Ugh, this is always confusing. GIC is now in the discard, but I believe a "negate the last enhancement played" can negate it. However, a "interrupt the battle and blah blah" can't, or something like that.Wait for someone smarter than me to answer

Whatever is interrupting the battle must resolve 1st before you can figure out what to do with GIC.
